We've had Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, McCall's 12th Birthday, Derick's Moab half marathon, St.Patrick's Day, Easter, our trip to Bryce Canyon and Newport Beach, end of 2012-2013 school year, my birthday, and Zane's 8th Birthday. Phew! I think I included everything. Oh, and my mom was here from the beginning of November 2012 until the end of December 2012. She celebrated her birthday with us, and Derick's step mom and mom also had birthdays in December. Of course, Jake's Birthday was in December as well, which was the same day that my nephew Nik turned 19. 4 days later he went in to the MTC, and is now serving in the South Carolina, Columbia Mission! So proud of him, even though we do miss him a lot! OK, so I might have left out a couple of things, it's not easy to remember things from that long ago...
We are looking forward to my mom coming to visit us again in just a few more weeks - YAY! She's coming August 16th:) My oldest brother Hugo, is coming to visit too, which is epic cause he has never ever been here before! Stoked!
Right now McCall is at camp with his scout group. They left Monday and they are coming home tomorrow - FINALLY! It's a long time to be gone in my opinion, and I will be glad to see him tomorrow. We have all missed him around here, the house gets really quiet with just Zane and us. Hopefully he has had a great time:)
To say that I am opinionated is an understatement. And lately I have been especially bad. I try not to say too much out loud, but that is a challenge. I think I need to move away from where I have people around me all the time. The older I get, the better that sounds. I just don't get why common sense and human decency, along with not being a total idiot is so hard. I need to stop this, I know. It just feels so good to have it off my chest. And besides, no one is forcing you to read this;-} And no, I don't hate people, in fact I try not to use the word hate too much. I like the word dislike a lot;-}
OK, so this is not how I imagined my come back to the blogging world to be, but there you have it. I am tired of people and things and the list can go on and on and on. I will try and be more cheerful next...♥♥♥
